This vehicle was seen at a New York fire apparatus show on July 7, 1927 and it was ordered right off the show room floor at a cost of $13,250. It stayed in service until September 1963.

When new, this pumper came with wooden spoke wheels and two wheel brakes. The vehicle was later upgraded to steel wheels and four wheel mechanical brakes.

Many fire apparatus extras have been added to this truck since its purchase. Two Dietz Fire King lanterns, four inch soft suction hose, breathing equipment, fire axe, period ALF foamite extinguishers, Baker deck gun, Indian "back pack" fire extinguishers, and many different sized brass nozzles.
