Dick Shappy and Richie Clyne pose with Shappy's 1929 Duesenberg Model J-268 Convertible
Coupe on 9th Street at the 2026 Auburn Cord Duesenberg Festival in Auburn, Indiana.
Made it to Indiana today to get the 1929 Duesenberg Model J-268 convertible coupe certified at the Auburn Cord
Duesenberg Festival in Auburn. I've never had the opportunity to research a vehicle history with as much
provenance as this one, and being around people who are as absolutely intrigued by the full novel I managed to
put together on this one has been a welcome surprise. (Check it out at the website I run:

Left out: The 50 pictures I took nerding out about random part numbers underneath this chassis today.
